Kelly Liao founded STUDIO K. after a career bridging architecture and interior design across some of British Columbia's most ambitious developments. She holds AIBC registration as an Architectural Technologist, with eight years leading projects through schematic design, design development, and contract administration.

Her work is guided by a hybrid background: interiors planned with the rigor of construction documents and rendered with editorial restraint.

  • Westbank, Vancouver — Development Coordinator / Interior Design Project Manager. Managed the interior design lifecycle for luxury residential, rental, commercial, and hospitality projects, from schematic design through construction administration. Led design, procurement, and staging for high-impact show homes.
  • MMC Architects, Vancouver & Toronto — Intermediate Architectural Technologist (AIBC). Produced schematic and technical design development packages and detailed technical systems with consultants and construction managers.
  • Gustavson Wylie Architects, Vancouver — Junior Design and Building Technologist. Generated design development drawings and technical documentation for permit applications and construction tenders.
